I'm off to a halloween party tonight. I hope someone records the night via camera. This is my make-up for the night. I think my friend might do my eyeliner though, I'm horrible at that shit. Have a kickin' halloween, y'all.

Bela Lugosi's Dead
The disposables I've been talking about. This consisted over the entire weekend.
Friday night's outfit. Better picture here (not like it's clear anyway)

Strobe Lights and Blown Speakers
Alright, so I'm going to pick up the pictures tonight, but the lady behind the counter told me it was stuck and might won't work. So I decided to just take pictures of my outfit instead and buy new wine red lipstick to ease the possible death of my disposable.
I added the disco ball because I am craving clubbing right now. I hate getting those types of cravings in the first days of the week because the realization of 3 or 4 more days of school sucks.

Antichrist Television Blues
I'm sorry for the lack of posts, but I have a legitimate reason: I have been taking photos with a disposable camera, and I am getting them developed tomorrow. I don't even know if me or my clothes are going to be in any of the photos though, I drunkenly roamed around and took pictures of everything I found to be of any particular interest. I've had quite the long weekend though, so they will most likely be interesting photos. I haven't used a disposable since my freshman years of high school, so I can not wait to go through the entire process again.
I'm currently about to start and finish my painting on The Shining and perspective. I find I never have any incentive to do anything art-related recently. I am simply not inspired.
Random summer photos. I'll post the disposable photos tomorrow or the next day, promise.

Nothing so Teenage and Desperate
I wish I could tell you I took pictures of my new finds from the Goodwill I mentioned last post. I wish I could tell you that I didn't take over two hours deciding what to pair together in the outfit and how my make-up was coordinated. But I can't. And I'm sorry.
I find that I have the certain days of the week when I feel the desperate need to dress up exactly by what I'm inspired by. For example, this week I had an infatuation with anything roman gothic. So, on Saturday night I found myself dressed up in entirely in black, with florals on my lace tights and dress, mascara heavy and lips wine red. I was satisfied. I think I might re-create it and take pictures with my DISPOSABLE CAMERA. Yes, finally. We've mixed the game up a bit from this shitty mac camera.
Willy, you are a genius. If you stop taking pictures, I'm going to stop breathing.
Moving on... since I am writing a philosophy essay and have very little fashion related thoughts currently lurking around in my brain, I want to show you a few pictures from a post I've been meaning to do for quite some time. These are from a D.R.E.A.M.S. (Dominican Republic Educational and Medical System) trip I took with my Interdisciplinary Program/class back in April. I miss it so much I can't even begin to describe.
We showered in this river. This river and the rain.
And this is what happens when you have no camera and are in possession of a Macbook while intoxicated. A small get together at my house a couple of weeks ago.
Bacardi and funny faces for the win.

Green Eyes
I think I may be the only person in the world who loves public transit. My city's buses are not great in the least but still, I always try to find an excuse to ride them. Not that I regularly do - it seems everyone has their driving licenses these days. But today I will be riding the bus to go thrifting, and the combination of the two couldn't make me any happier.
I'm sure I will post outfits pictures tomorrow. Hopefully with my SLR camera which I have yet to fix. It's been broken for quite a while.
Oh, and this is my brother back in the day when my camera actually worked.
PS. I am so so so happy with the way the new layout worked out. I've been really frustrated with the template and after studying quite a bit of HTML (or whatever it's called), I finally got it to work to my advantage. I think that attributes to my avid posting recently.

Tell Me Baby
Tonight I went out in a lace top and high waisted thrifted trousers to a friend's birthday party. Instead of going out for dinner or throw a big bash we had a girls night in with coolers and screwdrivers and white cheddar popcorn and listening to a lot of Red Hot Chili Peppers.
In other news, the Macbook pictures just get worse and worse. I think the fact that my source of light is the lamps on the night table may effect the clarity of the picture. And that the guest room I am currently in sucks for taking suitable outfit pictures. And that I may be a bit intoxicated.
Hmmm... I need a new camera. Plus I need to actually act on my complaints this time. Enough is enough.

Skip Divided Malfunction
This is my favourite type of weather ever. Cool enough to wear coats but warm enough to wear skirts. It's even sunny enough to wear my sunglasses.
This is my Radiohead tee I got a couple of weeks ago. I ordered it a couple of sizes too big but regardless, the sketching on it, entitled "Scribble", is amazing. I had to have it. Also, I wore a very similar outfit about a week ago but with high-waisted pants. Now that I've seen it with the skirt, I don't think I could choose between which is better. This coat works with everything.
I am going to Starbucks now to finish George Monbiot's "Heat" and enjoy a caramel macchiato. I don't think the thought of that could make me any happier.

I like to play dressup.
A lot of times I wish I could just move across the country.
To a town I've never heard of.
Consisting only of a field of roses.
The bees bask in their glory.
So enthused that they forget to sting you when you brush up against them.
We share the fields and I can hear them flying, buzzing past my ears.
Filled with joy and pollen.
Thinking, This is the life.
Why can't I just be a bee?To be careless and free.
Living in a field of roses free from the restraints of routine is how I want my life to be.

You're reading Fitzgerald, You're reading Hemingway
Nice and simple. I was in such a mood to dress up today, but still I felt neutral-y (when do I not?) and yet I wanted a bit of colour. When I opened my closet up, this little sucker looked me right in the face. The floral print is gorgeous, and even though I am contemplating sewing the length a bit shorter, it is probably my favourite of my skirts. Thx 4evr21!
Grandfather glasses, too. To spice it up a little more. mhmmm
These shoes. Yves Saint Laurent's spring line was magnificent this year, and these shoes contributed to it. They are AMAZING. I gasped when I saw them. Teared, almost. I think I even felt another panic attack coming along.
NEED.
