I'm thinking about getting a Pentax K1000. Thoughts? If anyone has one, don't hestiate to post if it's a good idea. I think the fact that I have twenty dollars left in my bank account is making me more conscious of splurging on random shit for the fun of it.

I have it, and I love it. You really work for each photo. It's a fantastic cam to learn how to manually take photos. Plus, it's gonna last you forever. Mine is 31 years old and still works like new.
Haha, i'm the same with the bank account thing. Nothing ever goes in anymore, it just comes out.

another thing: get it. really. that camera is fantastic. it's changed my life. people say you can't love inanimate objects... but i don't know, man! i LOVE my k1000.
